Hello, my name is Samuel Terrence. I’m a college dropout who was living an ordinary, somewhat unremarkable life with my parents until something life-changing happened in August 2014. Recently, I shared a journal entry titled "Blackout – 8/15/14," detailing the strange weeks that followed a mysterious blackout. A Strange Beginning

Before I dive into the details, I need to say this upfront: I have to be cautious about what I write. I’m not sure why they didn’t wipe my laptop’s hard drive, but I’m glad they didn’t. And to be perfectly clear, if my memory serves me correctly, I believe that Dick Cheney is involved in something... sinister. But let’s get back to the story. The last time I updated this journal, I left things on a mysterious note— a post that gained a surprising amount of attention. It's taken me several months to collect my thoughts, reflect, and conduct some research to make sense of everything I’ve been through.

The Blackout and Its Aftermath

It all began in 2014 when an unexpected blackout hit my hometown. This wasn’t a simple power outage—it was something much more disturbing. After the blackout, I found myself completely alone. There were no people, no animals, no signs of life. Everything had vanished, and I had no idea why. A fierce windstorm seemed to hover around my town for the duration of my strange isolation. I would have lost my sanity if it hadn’t been for an old walkie-talkie system that somehow broke through the silence and connected me with my friend, Laure.

What I learned from Laure was equally unsettling: he was experiencing the same bizarre phenomenon in his location. After some time, Laure and I both encountered strange rectangular-shaped objects that made us physically ill. Somehow, I managed to escape this terrifying encounter, but Laure... he wasn’t so lucky.

The Mystery of Laure’s Disappearance

To answer an important question early on—Laure is still missing. I haven’t been in direct contact with his family yet, but I’ve been doing everything I can to help search for him. The official story, however, is that the blackout was "resolved" within four days. Authorities claimed that the city’s crime rates spiked during this time, attributing it to a series of connected kidnappings. Five other people besides Laure and myself went missing between August 15th and 18th.

What’s even more bizarre is that there are multiple reports of strange, impossible burglaries occurring during this blackout period. In some cases, the crimes were completed in the blink of an eye. Residents also reported unmarked vehicles blocking off roads leading to the hills around the city. Even more unsettling were sightings of smoke rising from behind those blocked roads.
